It is just a short walk across the street from your front porch to the largest inland Bay on Cape Cod. Pleasant Bay is Ideal for a walk along the shore or a quiet day on the beach. Pleasant Bay is not normally well-suited for young families because it isn't a town beach with lifeguards, snack bars or restrooms. And because of limited parking the beach is never crowded. It is a beautifully serene vista. However, there is the occasional sound of an outboard motor or the cry of an osprey, hawk or gull. Our guests love the relaxed, rustic, nautical vibe. All you need to do is add your flip flops, sunscreen, and beach towels. From the ship's hatch table (in the photo above) to the nautical accents throughout the cottage, you will feel like you're staying at a sea captain's house.

This cottage was jso cozy and just the right size for my wife and me. The road is close and there is traffic noise, but there is really no neighbors or people noise. We loved the beach and central location to Chatham, Harwich, Brewster and Orleans.

Conveniently Located
Souvenir Cottage is conveniently located between the towns of Chatham, Harwich, Orleans and Brewster. And you are only a 30 minute drive to Hyannis and about 45 minutes to Provincetown. You can take the Freedom Ferry to Nantucket from Saquatucket Harbor in Harwich which will take about 90 minutes. Or go to Martha's Vineyard in about an hour from Hyannis on the Hy-Line
